Pirate Legend Steve Blass made history fifty years ago on Sunday, Oct. 17th when he threw a complete game in the World Series clinching Game 7 against the Baltimore Orioles at Memorial Stadium. Blass also maintains he'd have won MVP of the Series if not for his teammate Roberto Clemente's series long heroics.
