Penguins to Host the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, October 3 in their 2019-20 Home Opener
The full 2019-20 schedule will be announced on Tuesday, June 25
The Pittsburgh Penguins will take on Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres in the team’s home opener on Thursday, October 3 at PPG Paints Arena.
The Penguins’ full 2019-20 regular season schedule will be announced on Tuesday, June 25 at 12:00PM ET on NHL Network.
This season will mark the third time Pittsburgh has faced off against the Sabres in their home opener. The most recent occurrence was an 8-3 Penguins win on October 13, 1987.
The Penguins have gone 8-3-3 in 14 home openers since Sidney Crosby joined the team in 2005. Pittsburgh has an all-time record of 27-14-10 in home openers.
