UPDATE: Well it looks like the mall didn't fully close as originally expected. As of earlier this evening, WTAE's Beau Berman was still able to walk right in and do a FB Live .
He notes: " Doors are unlocked. Nail salon, comic book store, JC Penney and Chinese Massage are all open right now. BUT sign on front door says occupancy is PROHIBITED."
So I guess we will just have to wait and see! Looks like this old mall still has some borrowed time left.

West Mifflin Borough took to Facebook (Wednesday afternoon) to announce that their building inspectors have found that the facility is "a dangerous building or unsafe".
This is just a week after a mall employee was injured when a section ceiling fell on them. The borough then got involved and it appears they didn't like what they found.

Let's be honest here...this was only a matter of time. If you've been around the area lately, the mall has been looking more and more like a ghost town.
This notice is to remain on this building until it is repaired, vacated, or demolished in accordance with the notice which has been given the owner, occupant, lessee, mortgagee or agent of this building, and all other persons having an interest in said building as shown by the land records of the Registrar of Deeds and/or the Recorder of Deeds of the County of Allegheny,"
