Crosby has likely heard it all from fans of opposing teams. But, a run in with a fan at Wednesday night's game against the Rangers must have topped the list.
According to the social posts, the guy was lighting Sid up all night with great liners. Crosby must have been impressed, because he decided to reward the guy with an autographed stick.
For example he hit him with:
"Hey Crosby, you were voted third-toughest Canadian, behind Celine Dion and a close second to Avril Lavigne."
and then:
"Hey Crosby, when Gatorade wanted a tough guy, Justin Bieber turned them down so they settled for you."
Yea. Those seem pretty good. Would've got a laugh out of us...
