Crosby Headed to 2019 NHL All-Star Game

The NHL announced Wednesday evening that Sidney Crosby has been chosen to play in the 2019 NHL All-Star Game. This will be his third year in a row and overall eighth time he has made the All-Star team.

Crosby has contributed a goal and an assist in each of the last two All-Star Games, played in Tampa Bay and Los Angeles. He was the Metropolitan Division captain in 2017 in Los Angeles, when he was selected one of the NHL's 100 Greatest Players.

The 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend will be held January 25-26 at the SAP Center at San Jose. The last All Star Game to be held in San Jose was in 1997.
