Kelly Osbourne has opened up about her family's Christmas plans following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, earlier this year. The Black Sabbath legend passed away from heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home back in July, just two weeks after his final farewell concert with the band, and this Christmas marks the family's first without him.
According to Daily Mail, Ozzy will be remembered on Christmas Day by his family as they share their favorite memories about him with each other. Kelly even joked that her dad did his best to "ruin Christmas every year because he was Scrooge." Kelly also expressed that "Christmas will never be the same" and shared that the person she was before her father's death "does not exist anymore." She described Ozzy as "magical" and noted, "There is no one like him."
The family will gather at Sharon Osbourne's home in England, with Kelly's older half-brother Louis taking on the role of head chef. Kelly told TooFab that they will enjoy a traditional turkey meal and later visit a "fancy restaurant" for more celebrations. Although siblings Jack and Aimee will remain in Los Angeles, Kelly emphasized the importance of keeping Ozzy's memory alive for her son, Sidney.
Reflecting on past Christmases, Kelly shared a humorous memory of setting traps for Santa Claus, which nearly cost them their presents when Ozzy tripped over the fishing wire. Kelly plans to return to the U.S. after Christmas, splitting her time between England and her farm in Iowa, where she finds solace with her animals.
