Skid Row has announced that they are parting ways with lead singer Erik Grönwall.

The band released a statement on social media Wednesday, and it was a mutual split.

Back in March 2021, Grönwall was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

According to the statement, "Erik has decided that the travel and rigors of the road is not conducive to his overall health and recovery, and wants to focus on a lifestyle that is more amenable for his well-being, healing and family."

The band also announced that Lzzy Hale will be filling on the lead vocals at some upcoming shows they already have on the schedule for this year.

Full statement can also read it over on Twitter/X.
