REPORT: Steelers Trading Kenny Pickett to Philadelphia

Adam Schefter from ESPN is reporting that the Steelers are sending QB Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles in a pick swap.

He also added this in the post on Twitter/X: "Once Pittsburgh signed Russell Wilson, Pickett preferred to move on."

ESPN is reporting that the Steelers will get a 2024 third-round pick (98 overall) and two 2025 seventh-round pick. The Eagles, in addition to Pickett, get a 2024 fourth-round pick (120 overall).

Gerry Dulac from the Steelers Radio Network The Steelers made the move because of "the way Pickett was poorly handling the arrival of Russell Wilson, according to sources."

The move leaves Russell Wilson as the only QB on the Steelers roster at this point, and that deal was made officially official today.
