The Artimus Pyle Band is playing the Mon Aquatorium this Saturday, August 26th, with Six Gun Sally!
Pyle called in this week to chat about the show, the band’s current tour, and much more!
He talked about the late Gary Rossington who (along with Pyle and his son Chris) is part of Dolly Parton’s cover of “Freebird” on her new rock album that comes out on November 17th. Rossington's part was recorded before his passed away earlier this year.
The Artimus Pyle Band also has a new album coming out soon that’s a tribute to the late Ronnie Van Zant. The record will feature several special guests, including Dolly Parton, Sammy Hagar, Ronnie Dunn, Warren Haynes and more.
