WATCH: Tony Iommi Reflects On 2022 and Talks About His Plans For This Year

Tony Iommi has a lot of stuff planned for 2023!

He posted a video on New Year's Eve in which he looked back at 2022, and shared details about some things has in the works for this year.

Iommi's 2022 highlights include the release of the deluxe editions of two Ronnie James Dio-era Sabbath albums (Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules), performing at the Commonwealth Games, and writing two songs for Ozzy Osbourne's latest album.

As for what's on tap for 2023, he says, "I've been writing and recording. I'm having a new studio built... In another couple of weeks I think I'll be ready to go in and start work in there, which I'm really looking forward to -- writing another album."

He also has another archival album on the way that we can look forward to. This one will be box set featuring material from the Sabbath lineup with singer Tony Martin, drummer Cozy Powell and bassist Neil Murray.
