ZZ Top Busts Out An 17-String Bass Guitar At Alabama Show

ZZ Top's new bass player, Elwood Francis, busted out an 17-string bass guitar onstage last week!

He used it on "Got Me Under Pressure" during the band's show in Birmingham, AL.

Ultimate Classic Rock talked to Francis about it, and see the guitar was a product of some late night online shopping. They also pointed out that it's only a 17 string bass (yeah, I miscounted when I first watched the video and thought it was 18).

I've never seen anything like it before, and as you can from the fan filmed video below, it is GIGANTIC!!
