Carlos Santana Passes Out Onstage In Michigan, Postpones Star Lake Show

Carlos Santana passed out onstage during a show in at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkson, Michigan on Tuesday night.

According to his rep, Santana “was overtaken by heat exhaustion and dehydration" and was taken to a hospital for observation.

Santana's manger, Michael Vrionis, issued a statement late Tuesday night that said the guitar legend is “doing well,” and added, “the concert scheduled for tomorrow (July 6th) at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA will be postponed to a later date. More details to follow thru Live Nation."

That statement was posted on the Carlos Santana Facebook page, along with a note from Carlos:

thank you for your precious prayers
Cindy and I we are good just taking it easy
forgot to eat and drink water
so i dehydrated and passed out
blessings and miracles to you all
