The Black Crowes Reveal Details About Their New "1972" EP

The Black Crowes have a new EP coming out next month!

The album is titled 1972, and features covers of songs from that year.

It's due out digitally May 4th exclusively through Amazon Music, and on CD and vinyl May 6th.

If you want to check out a preview now, their take on The Temptations' "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," is streaming through Amazon Music. 

The rest of the EP includes covers of “Rocks Off” from The Rolling Stones, “The Slider” by T-Rex, “You Wear It Well” from Rod Stewart, “Easy to Slip” by Little Feat, and “Moonage Daydream” from David Bowie.

The band will be also be doing a show at the Whiskey a Go-Go in L.A. on May 4th, and that will be live-streamed on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel.
