Steelers Terminate OT Zach Banner's Contract

The Steelers have terminated OT Zach Banner's contract.

Banner only played one game in the 2020 season, and suffered a season ending injury in the opener that year.

In 2021, he played seven games, and total in his four years with the team, he played in 22 games.

Our Steelers Insider, Dale Lolley tweeted that terminating Banner's contract will free up about $5 million against the cap for the upcoming season.

Zach is a great guy and has always been a class act, but unfortunately, I think this was the right move by the team.

Wishing him the best in whatever is next.
