Steelers Sign OT Chukwuma Okorafor To Three-Year Contract

The Steelers have signed Chukwuma Okorafor to a new contract.

As reported earlier in the day via several outlets, it's a three-year deal.

Terms were not released, but Adam Schefter from ESPN tweeted it's a "$29.25 million deal, including $20.5 million in first two years, per source."

Okorafor was the Steelers third round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and started 16 of 17 games last season at right tackle.

He told Steelers.com that one of the big reasons he wanted to stay was because of Coach Tomlin.

Chuks also added that he knows he has to start stepping things up, especially as a leader. "I have had a little bit of a talk with Coach Tomlin. I think that is going to be my next role, how to lead better."
