Antonio Brown Releases Statement With His Side Of The Story

Antonio Brown has released a statement with his side of the story from this past weekend, and also announced that he is having surgery.

The lengthy statement basically says that Bucs head coach Bruce Arians knew about the ankle injury prior to their game against the Jets on Sunday, and when AB said he was in too much pain to go back in and play, Arians shouted "YOU'RE DONE (as he ran his finger across his throat)!"

The statement goes on to say, "Coach was telling me that if I didn't play hurt, then I was done with the Bucs. I didn't quit. I was cut."

It also went into a detailed explanation about his ankle injury, and the upcoming surgery, and wrapped up with this: "Once my surgery is complete, I'll be back to 100% and looking forward to next season. Business gonna be boomin!"

You can read the full statement below or over on Ian Rapoport's Twitter page.

Brown's lawyer also released a statement. That is below is as well.
