REPORT: ESPN Is Signing A Seven Year Deal With The NHL

ESPN has reportedly reached a seven-year deal to become one of the NHL's media partners.

According to Chris Johnston from SportsNet, the partnership will start with the 2021-22 season.

In addition to providing streaming rights to Disney, sources say the deal also gives ESPN the rights to broadcast four Stanley Cup Finals between 2022 and 2028.

Neither the NHL or ESPN have commented on the report.

NBC's media rights expire at the end of the current season.
