Metallica played "For Whom The Bell Tolls" at BlizzCon 2021 on Friday night for the opening ceremony of the annual presentation by video game manufacturer Blizzard Entertainment.
It was a virtual performance from the band's HQ in California, and viewers on Twitch got a surprise while they were watching. Twitch cut the audio on their stream and replaced it with generic elevator style music to avoid a potential Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown order.
