James Hetfield was part of a tribute show honoring the late Eddie Money on Thursday night in Beverly Hills, CA.
The concert also featured Sammy Hagar, George Thorogood, John Waite, Mickey Thomas of Starship, andKevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon, and all of the proceeds went to benefit MusiCares and the USC Eddie Money Cancer Research Fund.
Before performing a great acoustic version of "Baby Hold On," Hetfield told the story about the first time he met Eddie Money at an Oakland Raiders football game.
