Paul McCartney was the only guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night this week, and it was a REALLY great interview. I think the main reason for him being on the show was to promote his new children’s book, Hey Grandude!, but it turned into a lengthy conversation about a bunch of different topics.
Paul talked about how he often dreams of his longtime friend and band mate John Lennon, and the impression that Lennon left on him. He also discussed how much of an impact Elvis Presley had on his songwriting back in the early days of his career
It’s really rare to see Paul McCartney talk to anyone for as long as he did with Colbert.
