Alien Abduction Insurance is apparently an actual thing, and surprisingly, it's been around since 1987!!
The company that is offering it in Florida has sold over 6,000 policies since they started the coverage, and the one-time premium is only like $20 bucks, BUT make sure you read the fine print. The payout is $10 million, however, if you ever need to file a claim, they only pay you $1 per year over the course of 10 million years. So yeah, it's more of a novelty thing, but 2 people have actually filed claims, and they were paid!!
