David Gilmour Auctioning Over 120 Instruments From His Collection in NY

David Gilmour is auctioning off 120 instruments from his collection today (June 19) at Christie's in New York, and all of the proceeds will be donated to different charities through his foundation.

Among the lot is the famous 1969 Black Fender Stratocaster that he used while recording Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. Also up for bid is the iconic 1954 White Fender Stratocaster #0001.
