In the 1950's and '60's, Muddy Waters exposed the World to American Chicago Blues. He and Willie Dixon at Chess Records, deeply influenced musicians globally, especially in England. The Rolling Stones named themselves after a Muddy Waters song. Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" was a total rip-off of Muddy's "You Need Love." The Allman Brothers covered Muddy's "Hootchie Kootchie Man." Muddy died in 1913 at age 70.
