In Chicago in 1929, they didn't play nice. It was all about bootlegging, gambling and prostitution. Al Capone ran the rackets. A rival Irish mobster Bugs Moran, also a bootlegger, had 7 of his men machine-gunned in a garage today in 1929, by Capone's guys dressed up like Chicago cops. No one was ever brought to trial for the murders.
