Super Bowl Steelers, World Series Pirates and historic, legendary, unforgettable concerts, all a part of Pittsburghers' lives, growing up the '70's thru the '90's. "The Walls Came Crumbling Down" today in 2001. We were on the Gateway Clipper's Majestic, right off The Fountain at Point State Park. Watching Three Rivers Stadium implode was like having someone saw right down the middle of your chest....oh wait, I've already had that done. 18 years ago today. And you couldn't buy an alcoholic drink of ANY kind on board the Majestic that morning, because the PA LCB came on board before we sailed and shut down the bars!
