Howlin' Wolf Scared The Sh*t Out Of The Whole Room

Howlin' Wolf (Chester Burnett) died today in Chicago 1976. Wolf stood 6'4", 300 lbs, intimidating as hell as he looked down at you from the stage! He worked with Robert Johnson (THAT Robert Johnson), Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy and all of the Chess Records legends. Wolf's Mother: "You play The Devil's music." But Wolf was a really smart guy, as he didn't died broke like almost every other Black Blues Legend did. Wolf managed his money and his career himself. Jimi Hendrix opened up ALL of his live performances with Howlin Wolf's "Killing Floor." Howlin' Wolf (Chester Burnett) was just 66 when he died today in 1976. Rock & Roll HOF, Blues HOF, Memphis Music HOF inductee.
