Remembering D-Day, 74 Years Ago, Normandy Beach

June 6th 9144, the largest invasion by air, land and sea in history. More than 5K ships, 11K planes & 150K soldiers from the US, UK & Canada stormed the German occupied beaches of Normandy in France. More then 4K Allied soldiers died. Of the 16 million American soldiers who served in WWII, only 450K remain alive today. Some 363 WWII vets die every day in the US. A standing salute and a heartfelt prayer of thanks to all those who fought and gave their lives today 74 years ago on D-Day.
