Today is Carl Palmer's birthday, one of the greatest drummers in Rock history. Not only was Carl a founding member of Emerson Lake & Palmer, he also drummed for Asia, Atomic Rooster and The Crazy World of Arthur Brown" ("I am the God of Hellfire, and I bring you FIRE"). Can you image losing Greg Lake and Keith Emerson within 9 months of each other?? That's what Carl went thru in 2016. I saw Carl Palmer 2X's at The Rex/Southside, interviewed him as well, really nice guy.
