Jodi Zema and Frank Dentici, CEOs, Kuhn's Markets

Frank Dentici is one of three third-generation owners of Kuhn’s Market. He works alongside his younger sister, Jodi Zema and his older sister, Petrice Sekuta. He grew up in the family business and always had the dream to learn as much as he could about the stores from his father, Joe Dentici, and his uncle, Tom Dentici.

Frank officially started his career at Kuhn’s at 14 years old at the store on McKnight Road bagging groceries after school. He graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1994 and was accepted to Duquesne University with a major in Accounting and minoring in Information Technology.

He graduated from Duquesne University in 1999 and started work as an assistant manager at the Moon Township store. He worked his way up to store manager and then took an interest in learning more about the perishable departments. He worked his way up in the departments, learning to bake, decorate cakes, cook in the deli and cut fresh meat and seafood. He eventually became the perishables director for all the stores and moved to the corporate office on Rochester Road. He currently works at the office on Rochester Road now, still overseeing the departments and handling all the technology in the stores along with curbside pickup and Shipt delivery.

Frank currently lives in the north hills of Pittsburgh with his wife Jodie and his 3 daughters.
