Largest Crowds Ever for One Act Live Shows

With the summer concert season here, time to revisit some of the most massive outdoor shows ever, and these weren't festivals, these shows drew, in some cases, millions, with just one act performing! Some sites around the world seem to have a lot of these events, like New York's Central Park, with Elton John, in the famous duck suit, drawing 400,000 in 1980, Simon and Garfunkel with 500 thousand fans in 1981, and Diana Ross bringing 800,000 to the park in 1983...Queen, in September of 1976, played London's Hyde Park (shown here) to roughly 200,000....then there's Bruce Springsteen, playing shortly after the fall of Berlin Wall, in East Berlin to 300,000...and the most massive crowds of all, in Rio de Janeiro on Copacabana Beach--the Stones in 2006 drawing 1.5 million, and in 1994, Rod Stewart bring an estimated 3.5 million to his show...here's more details on those shows, and others: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/biggest-rock-concerts/
