In 2013, guitarist Richie Sambora abruptly left the band that made him a star, and to which he contributed immensely: Bon Jovi. Rumors were he was fired. He said he left because wanted more time to raise his daughter. Richie has also said in recent interviews that he'd be happy about reuniting with the band. In a recent interview, though, Jon Bon Jovi says Sambora hasn't made a move to get back into the band: " He hasn't made any great overtures about coming back." Also, according to Jon, Richie just didn't show up for a concert in Canada back in 2013, after saying he wanted to stay home one more day when the band was flying to the gig. Then the next afternoon, told Bon Jovi "I can't go on." Bon Jovi says he didn't kick Sambora out of the band: "I swear to Christ there was never a fight, nothing."
