Record Store Day each year is a celebration of physically going to your local record store and and supporting it by buying albums, like everybody used to do pre-internet, right there at the store. There are new releases that, at least for one day, you can only buy at the record store. This year, Record Store Day is April 20th, and on that day, among other offerings, you'll be able to get the new release from the David Bowie estate "Waiting for the Sky," which gives you all the Ziggy Stardust songs plus some unreleased ones, the Rolling Stones "Live at Racket NYC," the live show the band played at a small club last October when they were releasing the "Hackney Diamonds" album...and there's a Talking Heads live album coming out from a radio show in 1977.....here's more on all those, plus a link to get you all the info on records coming out on Record Store Day 2024: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/record-store-day-2024/
