Only makes sense that if a band is together long enough, they'll lose original members, whether from them quitting, getting fired, or dying, but there are some very famous and successful bands who have NOBODY left, and still call themselves by the band's original name....with the death of Gary Rossington last year, Lynyrd Skynyrd is flying now with no original members...funny that a now long-time member of Skynyrd, Ricky Medlocke, came to Skynyrd from a band he helped found, Blackfoot, which is also now operating with no original members...the band YES has been around in some shape or form since 1968, and their original member who lasted longest with the band was Chris Squire, who died in 2015...then you have Quiet Riot, who started out with Randy Rhoads and singer Kevin Dubrow, along with a couple other guys--Rhoads left to join Ozzy's band, Dubrow left in the late 1980's then came back into a re-formed Quiet Riot, where he stayed til he died in 2007....here's more on those bands, plus other bands who've got nobody original left--Thin Lizzy, Ratt, Humble Pie and more: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/bands-no-original-members/
