You may be a fan of Joe Walsh, but maybe you don't know all he's been thru since the 1970's....in 1974, he lost his four year old daughter in a traffic accident, in which his then-wife was critically injured...he started coping then with alcohol and other substances...soon he was using alcohol and coke together on a regular basis, then sunk deep into addiction, saying the "combination of that stuff convinced me that I couldn't do anything without it. It was all an attempt to self-medicate."
Walsh says it was fellow Eagles Glenn Frey and Don Henley getting together with him in 1992 and saying they wanted to get the band back together again, but only if he would get sober.
