Biggest Rock and Roll Feuds

Rock and pop music have had their share of publicly feuding artists, sometimes because of things that were said in the press, sometimes because of nasty things that were done to one by another, or in the case of Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, who were both married to Pamela Anderson, a little from all of the above....case in point: Kid Rock and Anderson had been divorced for about 5 years, and Tommy and Pam, who had been married before she and Kid Rock were together, were sitting together backstage when, according to Lee, Rock approached them, Lee tried to give Rock a hug to say hello, and Rock punched him. Rock contends Lee had it coming for all the things he would say about Rock publicly. Then you have the lyric argument between Ronnie Van Zant and Neil Young in the songs "Sweet Home Alabama" and Young's "Alabama." Van Zant has always said he was just calling Young out in the "Sweet Home" lyrics respectfully, feeling Young was stereotyping all Southerners as racist types....The two artists were actually known to be friendly. Then there's Carlos Santana calling Kiss a "Vegas act," and Gene Simmons saying in an interview Carlos was one of those guys who looks down at his shoes the whole time onstage and things it's a rock concert.
