Most people know the profound importance of Gary Rossington in the life and popularity of Lynyrd Skynyrd over the years, helping to put the band back together ten years after the plane crash that claimed the lives of singer Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines and background singer Cassie Gaines...After well documented substance abuse issues, and many serious heart issues, Rossington retired from the road inn 2021, but was intending on continuing to make music off the road.
