A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon, from an alleged incident in downtown Cincinnati the day before the Divisional Playoff game with the Buffalo Bills. The warrant states Mixon pointed a gun at a woman, and said "You should be popped in the face. I should kill you right now. The police (can't) get me." It's not the first time Mixon has had criminal charges brought for an incident with a woman. In college at Oklahoma, he was arrested for punching a female student in the face, which resulted in a deferred sentence, community service, counseling, and a year-long suspension from the Oklahoma football team. It's been thought by many that Mixon fell to the second round in the NFL Draft in 2017 because teams were afraid of possible character issues. The Bengals have issued this statement: "The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon. The club is investigating and will not comment further at this time." Here's more.
