It wasn't unusual, apparently, for the FBI back in the late 1960's, to send agents to rock concerts to monitor and report on what the FBI deemed at the time to be subversive messages, like protest songs performed by rock bands, or images projected that were considered "left wing" from the rock acts of the time....so when Mickey Dolenz, the only surviving member of the pop band "The Monkees," got wind of this, he tried to get the files from a Monkees show released using the Freedom of Information Act, but was unsuccessful....about 10 years ago, a small portion of those files was released, and now, a new lawyer is attempting to get all the files out to the public.
