When bands do bigtime concert tours, their contracts most often include a rider with the special requests, some would say demands, of the band, while in each city...some demands seem normal enough, like the Rolling Stones requiring two "smartly dresses hostesses" to serve food in the stage area, some are funny, like Foo Fighters requiring food be given to their "fat roadies" immediately upon arrival, so they'll have the energy to "make it thru their arduous 70-90 minute workday"...Metallica required bacon with every meal, but no alcohol around the stage. Sammy Hagar, known for his tequila, asks for specific red and white wines for backstage, and beer on the stage, the Beach Boys used to ask for Bic lighters, just so they weren't green. Ozzy on one tour, requested an ear, nose and throat doctor be at the show, someone who could also give him a B-12 shot if needed. And yes, Van Halen asked for the Brown M&Ms be taken out of the M&Ms they requested....here's a bunch more of the rockers requests taken from their concert tour riders.
