Every year, bands and artists get nominated for induction in to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that arguably have nothing to do with rock and roll.....and thousands of people bitch about it, saying it should be an accolade that is for what it says it is: achievement by rock artists...For a change, a superstar that is purely from the country and pop genre, Dolly Parton, has said essentially she doesn't feel right being nominated this year, and has withdrawn her name from consideration. Nancy Wilson, who was inducted with the band Heart in 2013, has come out publicly to applaud Parton, calling her a "Class Act," for taking her name out of the running. Nancy says as a voter, it's tough when artists like Lionel Ritchie or Dionne Warwick or Dolly Parton are included in the voting, and that they should have their own categories under a larger Rock Hall of Fame moniker.
