Say what you will about who gets to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...at least the fans have a little say in who goes in these days....the top 5 vote getters so far according to fans: Eminem with 142,000 votes, Duran Duran (119,000), Pat Benatar (112,000), Dolly Parton (95,000), and Eurythmics (73,000)... further down the list: Judas Priest, the New York Dolls, and the MC5...Fans can keep voting at vote.rockhall.com thru April 29th, then the top 5 vote getters will make up a "Fans Final Ballot" which will be counted with about a thousand ballots sent to musicians and industry professionals...the new class of inductees will be announced in May...here's more about the process and the upcoming Rock Hall Ceremony, as well as where your favorite nominated artists stand right now: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/eminem-duran-duran-rock-hall-voting/
