We're only a little more than three weeks into the new year, and already the entertainment world, and music in particular, have lost a lot of folks....Meat Loaf, of course, left us on Jan 20 at age 74 (cause not disclosed)...Ronnie Spector, first famous from the Ronettes, passed on Jan 12th at age 78 after a brief bout with cancer...Comedians Bob Saget and Louie Anderson both passing away in the past two weeks, and even Barry Benedetta, who played lead guitar on several Cinderella songs from their "Night Songs" album, passed away on Jan 6th at age 62 after being on a ventilator because of COVID...and there's more: One of the founding members of Blood Sweat and Tears, Dick Hallinger, Michael Lang, the promoter of the original Woodstock Music Festival, Don Wilson, co-founder of the surf band the Ventures, and more, have checked out already this year...here's more.
