10 Things You May Not Know About Ringo

When it comes to my favorite Beatle, Ringo, I think by now most people know he's been married for years to former Bond girl Barbara Bach--she was in "The Spy Who Loved Me"--but my favorite little known fact about Ringo is he was the original storyteller and "man in the cab" for the kids' show "Thomas the Tank Engine" (aka "Thomas and Friends" ) from 1984-1986....that the idea for his hit "Back Off Boogaloo" came from a dinner with T. Rex's Marc Bolan (who used the word "boogaloo" a lot), not from him supposedly dissing Paul McCartney's solo music.....and he owns almost no Beatles memorabilia--he gave most of it away thinking it wouldn't really be worth much!
