Best New Rock Albums of 2021

With the weird COVID year we've just been thru, it seemed that bands who put out new albums did it, intentionally or unintentionally because of lack of fanfare, very quietly...so it was easy to miss some of the good stuff that has been released in 2021....Some artists recorded out of their homes and did all the work themselves...some, like Elton John, with "The Lockdown Sessions," collaborated with other stars like Eddie Vedder and Stevie Nicks...and there were a few, like Jackson Browne, who actually had written everything before COVID hit, and just got around to releasing his new one "Downhill from Everywhere"...here is Ultimate Classic Rock's list of the top 40 rock albums of 2021, including Cheap Trick's "In Another World," Alice Cooper's "Detroit Stories," which includes a cover of the Velvet Underground's "Rock and Roll," plus new releases from "Mammoth WVH, Peter Frampton, Ringo, Greta Van Fleet, Yes, L.A.
