First it was Gary Rossington needing emergency heart surgery last month, and being replaced on the current Lynyrd Skynyrd tour by Damon Johnson...then two weeks after Rossington's surgery, guitarist Rickey Medlocke tested positive for COVID-19, and the band cancelled four shows, including the one that was supposed to cap off the festivities in Canton for Pro Football Hall of Fame Weekend....but last night, Medlocke made his return to Skynyrd, and the band resumed their tour in Wildwood, New Jersey at the Barefoot Country Music Festival...Medlocke posted on Instagram that he feels good, and also feels "very blessed and very fortunate."
