NYC Ticker Tape Parade for First Responders

New York City held its first ticker tape parade since the U.S. Women's Soccer team won the World Cup back in 2019, but this wasn't for athletes winning a championship--it was to salute all front line workers who helped with the coronavirus pandemic when New York City was the epicenter of the disease....2,500 health care workers, first responders, front line workers and more marched and rode on floats as the ticker tape rained down, and crowds cheered the pandemic heroes, including Justin Davis, a 43-year-old nurse and veteran who travelled from his home in Pittsburgh to work with covid patients in New York hospitals ... check out more, and watch video of yesterday, here: https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/coronavirus/nyc-honors-essential-workers-at-parade-up-canyon-of-heroes/3142113/
