This past Thursday, "Springsteen on Broadway" returned as the first full capacity Broadway show since Covid shut everything down....and Bruce spent a bunch of time telling everyone about his 96-year-old mom Adele, and her 10-year-long struggle with Alzheimer's disease....how she's the reason he and his sisters were into music, because she loved music and dancing so much, and rented Bruce his first guitar when he was seven....for anyone who's experienced loved ones with Alzheimer's, his stories of his mom will really hit home...Bruce says even though she can't talk anymore, she still recognizes him, gives him smiles and kisses and makes a sound when he talks to her that he says means "I love you." Here's more about that, plus info on the whole "Springsteen on Broadway" show run.
