A beautiful thing came out of the session work for the new Billy Gibbons solo album due out June 4th--a bunch of material he and ZZ Top band mates Dusty Hill and Frank Beard are using for a new ZZ Top album that Billy says may be done by late this year, the first new ZZ Top release since "La Futura" in 2012....but, ZZ fans shouldn't count on this new album absolutely getting done by the end of 2021...their last album took 4 years after they started working on it to get finished, with tons of refinement done with the band and producer Rick Rubin....here's more about all that, and preview details about Billy Gibbons' new solo album "Hardware" due out a week from Friday.
