Ringo Says New "Let It Be" Film Shows Beatles "Having Fun"

For the past 51 years, anyone who's watched the iconic Beatles documentary "Let It Be" comes away with the impression that that band was on the outs during those final days, and the famous concert on the roof of Abbey Road Studios was also tense and somewhat joyless....Ringo Starr, doing interviews to promote his new EP called "Zoom In," says he's so excited for the upcoming documentary about that very same era shows joy and fun, and that things were not as they were presented all those years ago...Ringo says the earlier film focused on a rift between Paul and George, but the new film, entitled "The Beatles: Get Back", directed by "Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson, will show much, much more of the concert on the roof, and the guys having a good time....here's more of Ringo's words, plus more details on the new film, due out in August.
