18 Album Covers Censored and Changed from the Original

Maybe the record company was outraged....maybe retailers objected....maybe the band just wanted to "stick it to the man" and threw something on the cover that was outrageous...but there've been several great rock albums that started out with certain cover art or photos that got changed very quickly, or not so quickly...included in these 18: the Beatles "Yesterday and Today," which originally featured the band covered with raw meat and baby doll parts, David Bowie's "Diamond Dogs," which someone changed after determining the dog genitalia was objectionable, The Black Crowes' 1994 lp "Amorica," which unsettled retailers because of the lady pubic hair hanging out of a bikini bottom, and a bunch more...
